SZU is the transport company responsible for the local market in the Zimmerberg area. This includes the municipalities of the district of Horgen, with the exception of Kilchberg and Rüschlikon.

New bus garage

In March 2021, the new Zimmerbergbus bus garage in Wädenswil was put into operation. It offers space for over 60 large vehicles, washing facilities and a repair workshop under one roof.

Route network

The Zimmerbergbus buses travel on 25 routes during the day and on four routes during the night. They are operated by AHW Busbetriebe, PostBus Nord, Busbetriebe Bamert and Leuthold Transfer.

Stops

As one of eight companies responsible for the ZVV market, SZU is in charge of all 232 bus stops in the Zimmerberg market area. This means that SZU is responsible for the maintenance of the bus stops, as well as for customer information on the entire bus network.
